CIRCUS presents Superfluous, a collaboration of underground artists given the freedom to get weird in a gallery space. There is no airbrushed dolphins or perfect waves, the artists can’t be found in any Hawaii gallery. Real art from real artists. From two headed llamas to concrete collaborations, aerosol art to resin heads, Superfluous is based on creativity, not sales.
As Haleiwa, Hawaii’s art walk consists of generic decorative art, CIRCUS is doing just the opposite. So come down, March 28th starting at 5 pm to see some creative minds at work. Music from the acoustic duo The Entradistas will play until 9 pm, and then DJ Gary Owens will raise the energy level spinning his vinyl collection through the night.
